Nature’s Art

It’s been raining all day, not the one-in-500-years flooding rain they’re getting on the mid north coast but continuous. I walked part of the way up King St past a new piece of council-sanctioned public art, an enormous glass tube filled with soft pastel coils, called Guts, with the obligatory sticker and artist statement on the ArtSeat below. Whoever applied the sticker also peeled off a blank one which became a natural artwork in the rain.
