Long billed curlew

I love Monterey. This was a trip to Hudeman Slough , which i may have spelled incorrectly. Great birding - besides the curlews there were white and brown pelicans ( the brown are in extras) , Forster's terns . in extras, otters , harbor seals and all 3 cormorant species ( pelagic , Brandt's and double crested ) . I am posting late  as I did not take the laptop with me for reasons of weight . The camera is bad enough. It is also pouring and is going to rain for the next 5 days. Yuck . And it is cold. For May. 
The harbor in Monterey itself had alters , cormorants and pigeon guillemots. And seals , lots of them . And sea lions- lots of them too.
