Dad's Taxi is Now Resting
Woke up in Oban at 8.30 am and put the alarm off, then we didn't get up till 9.30 am. We then went for breakfast at a little cafe down the front, £3.35 for a full Scottish breakfast I thought was excellent value for money.
After that we went for a wee walk around town then sat at the harbour front waiting on Hayley's ferry. I took a few shots as we sat there then some of the ferry as it made it's approach.
After Hayley got off, we walked back to the car and dropped all her rucksacks and stuff into the car. The three of us then went down to the bit off the harbour where they sell the fresh sea food and I had scallops in warm garlic butter. They were gorgeous.
We then had a coffee and Hayley shared a fish supper with Cheryl before we set off for home. When we got home Hayley was showered and ready to go out the door to meet Jamie, so I had to run her into Edinburgh as she was running late.
So after I had dropped her off and I was turning the corner into my street, Hayley phoned me to say she had left her purse at home and if I could bring it into her. Yes I got the purse then about turned and headed back into Edinburgh.
Got home at 8 pm, just in time to watch the England v Scotland game which was very enjoyable. Scotland gave them a good game which was pleasing. I'm totally tired out now so it's off to bed.
I've decided to pick the Ferry coming in as my blip because I like how I've caught the seagull in flight beside it.
Dad's taxi is now resting.
