More Birds!

I seem to be on a roll re: bird blips. 

Could it be that I have not been out much except to my own back yard? I am back-blipping today trying to fill in the last three days and I note that birds seem to be the main theme; perhaps that reflects the joy of spring happening and bringing with it, some new and interesting birds that are passing through! This lovely rose-breasted grosbeak appeared a while ago and caused a lot of excitement, not only with me, but with some other bird-loving neighbours. We expected that he was just passing through but here he is! Still here! ! 

There is a lot of bird action in the garden these days and I keep going out every day to try to photograph them. It is good practice, helping me get better at tracking and capturing them as they flit about in the trees rather than just snapping them as they almost pose for me on the feeders. 

There is action in the bird house too; a family of sparrows have made a nest in there again this year. (extra) I wish I had other places to put a birdhouse but with so many of my trees having been cut down over the years, it is a challenge now to find a spot to hang one!

I went for yet another Covid shot today - will they ever end? 

I have never had an issue with after-effects of the vaccine; I have never even had discomfort at the site of the needle..but this time I did! What's with that? Methinks that my arms are still angry at me for those breaks and are not willing to tolerate yet another attack on them - even if it just a needle! That one angry arm kept me up all night! One day soon, I hope they  will forgive me for all the distress and trauma I have caused them and let up on all the aches and pains that they insist on sending my way!
