New toy for Leo, sweet little red lobster that I predict won’t last too long!
I’ve been super busy again, had training for my home-start peer support role, useful but I could have done without it today! It was followed by a call with the residential manager from Ben’s new setting, that was really useful, we talked about her providing videos and photos of staff so we can start to talk to Ben about what it is going to look like and arranged dates that they can visit him and he can visit them to build up solid relationships. It’s horribly scary but I feel confident they care and they’re ’on it’. Then I had a remote social care meeting I had to take on my phone, in the car because the invite had gone out for the wrong time and I’d promised older teen a lift somewhere. I’ve also dealt with scheduling issues with carers and school and paperwork from the GP and psychiatrist and a builder (non Ben related!), walked the dog twice, fetched dog food from the pet shop and couldn’t resist more squeaky balls and some chew toys.
How can it just be Wednesday?!
