Our community garden has always been a very hostile one , with giant hogweed taking over the whole garden. 

Recently, the owners of the building decided to pay someone to have them removed safely - and also getting some masonry done on the very decrepit walls!

Thanks to them the garden has been much more approachable. 2 of my neighbours have been working at it, and today I joined in, planting some cosmos, sunflowers, thyme and apple mint. 

There's still loads of work to do ! Loads of little giant hogweed seedlings to dig up and loads of beds to stablished, but I feel grateful to this little group of people who's decided to come together to get the job done.
