Kyoto Gardens of Honolulu Memorial Park

On the way back to Alaska, we had just under 24 hours in Honolulu. Finally balmy weather after experiencing Australia and New Zealand winter. We swam for an hour at the Waikiki beach near our hotel for about an hour. Waikiki is a great nightlife place, but a lousy swimming beach. The sand is uncomfortable which transitions to rocky footing further out. We then drove to Bellows Air Station which arguably has the best beach on the island. It was fabulous. The sand was like walking on clouds with zero rocks. The surf was great. This was a nice view of Honolulu Memorial Park we spotted on the drive to the airport.
