Altea

Grand day out today. Altea this time, only 6 miles from Benidorm but very different! Lots of different nationalities but not overrun by tourists. Mr P and I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the old towns (2 of them) and then the beach area. The only fly in the ointment were the pebbly beaches. I had to slither into the water and Mr P knackered his knee!
We had a very good Menu del Dia at lunchtime and then another delicious meal at son no 1’s flat this evening (Danny and Sinéad’s) Just as well that we had walked up and down lots of hills and steps.
