Morepork Owl- Ruru

This is our native Owl - Morepork. The Morepork is similar to our Little Owl. The Morepork has a distinctive call, is nocturnal. The Little Owl is diurnal ( out and about day and night). This little fellow is ready for release , having come into hospital injured.
