Calm

This Pink & Grey Galah Cockatoo was sitting as calm as a cucumber eating some of the weeds that are growing alongside the verge, these cockatoos are a common sight around these parts.
Some can be domesticated and housed as pets, or pests i have heard said? Myself i would rather see them out in the wild doing their own thing.
They have one partner for life and can lay from 2-5 eggs with both sharing the incubation period, the chicks will leave the nest around 49 days after hatching.

Its turned out to be a wild and woolly day today we went to watch the ocean as another storm front was coming in, the waves rolled over the rocks and the spray reached the other side of the road, another storm front is forecast for tonight, so we won't be watching a sunset tonight for sure!
its no longer calm out doors quite the reverse! but its good to see the rain.
