Genessee River Bed
The raging waters of Spring have subsided revealing a delicate river bed of stepped rapids, runs and pools. This area harbors some wildlife including the occasionalGreat Blue Heron and fish in the river.
The large building on the left is the Rundel Memorial Library setting on a disused hydroelectric plant. The small red building across the Court St bridge is the Rochester terminal of the Lehigh Valley Railroad now a Dinosaur Barbeque, a popular eating place.
