Sulphur-crested Cockatoo (Cacatua galerita)

It was only back on 27th July that I blipped one of these magnificent birds when it landed on our roof. Today I heard it making a great noise just outside my window. I quickly grabbed the long lens and crept up to the window.

Got a number of shots of this very large white parrot drinking water from the bird bath before it took off. This is without doubt one of our most popular and iconic birds.
