Thursday, sun and sea...

Wonderful weather today.

Sadness today though, as last night I heard of the passing of someone who I didn't personally know, but felt like I did, along with alot of other people I am sure.

There is a young family here in Chch, who have been struggling with coping with their 5yr old son going thru cancer for the past few years, and just as his journey seems to have been improving they got thrown the most unfair news only a few months ago....the fathers was also diagnosed with a cancer, and thru Facebook his amazing mum has been sharing their story and fundraising for treatment .....and then sadly last night the father lost his battle.
Unbelievable for one family to have had to go through so much.

I went down to the beach today just for a short while, as it always seems to make me feel just a little bit better, it was pretty perfect looking down there.
