In Oregon , Mushrooms Abound

Back home, I revel in the little Oregon things. Mushrooms, allowed room to spread, even on the grounds of the Capitol. Farmer's Markets, where I can buy goats milk mozzerella, and then hear the goat farmer and cheesemaker tell me why goats are so much better than cows.
"Cows don't look you in the eye, they don't come running when you get home. Cows would run you over if you were in between them and good grass. With goats you can have a real relationship!' Then I sampled, at his insistence, his goats milk yogurt, ice cream and chevre. I'm sold, I want goats!
Then there is the new carpool mate, hired by the state to do sustainability planning (!) Who loves trees (certifed arborist) and mountain biking! And then there was dawn full of pumpkin and creamsicle and pineapple.
