Two Sides

Today I was reminded of the two sides of gardening. The first was this view of the roses this morning. The second was three tomatoes that we planted yesterday, had the tops taken off by birds. Two of the three may survive, but one is a goner.

On a comic relief note, the second picture is of Peanut stalking one of our plastic owls we use to try to deter the birds. She eventually caught it.

Gardening is hard, and with moderate success. Even with our losses, we stay at it.
