Beach Girl

Another wonderful day at the beach has come to an end. Our agenda has pretty much stayed the same each day with lots of beach and pool time. We are on a quest to find the best seafood places to eat at. Tonight we had dinner on a fishing dock at a place called starfish company. It is a fish market with a little restaurant on the docks. This is what we love. Just simple fresh caught fish. I had blackened Mahi Mahi with cheese grits, hush puppies and creamy cole slaw. Served in the finest paper box on a picnic table. Our dinner view was of longboat key, jewfish key, and Mangrove Islands. The place was covered signs that said a lot about the favor of the area! One of my favorites was " Live with Egrets not with regrets".

Unfortunately our air condition in our condo had stopped working and while they were repairing it, Moira and I had a fun walk on the beach watching the sunset. Moira is learning that if you play in the waves they don't knock you down!
