Early?

I had a few plans today including using up the bananas for a cake and a bit of gardening.  Cake first - looked and tasted yummy.

Garden next and I started off with a few layers but the sun came out and it was lovely and warm.  Dahlias now planted and watered (ground was like dust).  Weeding the borders and planting a few more seeds - not sure why I grew so many?  I have got a few sweet peas flowering which seem fairly early?  OH was out with cousin (and new partner - dentist) having lunch but I declined to go - maybe next time?  Turns out he is friends with ex colleague - Finance Director - small world?

In for shower and change and early dinner then golf club quiz night - really difficult questions and a different format - the quiz master had a bad throat so didn't read the questions out - we just had a sheet with everything on - strange?  We came about half way down the pack?  OK evening.  Home for a cup of tea and another piece of cake then bed.
