...in the garden -

simple and true - sometimes - that's all that's needed...

i always wondered about these quiet little ones - they do their job of filling in the empty places in gardens - scooting along the edges - blooming tiny blossoms of perfect almost fake-like flowers - i used to think they were plastic - back when my mom had them in her flower beds - they appeared too perfect almost - yet you could count on them to get it done - fill in those loose spaces - be hardy about it, too - looking pretty - none of this scrawny stuff -

so here's to the begonia - the flowering plant which harkens from my childhood - bringing back fond memories - now in my own tiny garden - making for...
