Lauren, my friend Marian’s granddaughter, on her way to Wembley to watch her team play, and ultimately win the FA cup.

Marian is with us this weekend so it was wonderful and quite emotional to see Crystal Palace win. Marian’s only son Chris is Lauren’s Dad and he was a huge CP fan. Sadly he died aged 31. Marian travelled to us by train and was surrounded on the train by CP supporters. She was wearing her scarf and had lots of hugs from fans. She said she had the best time.
