Eagle-Eyed Terry

Following a LOT of speculation about what the weather would do today, Dad and I stuck to our guns and decided to head out for an afternoon's golfing and boy, were we glad we did!

Despite one downpour the weather was gorgeous and the course in fine condition.

We were playing this hole (the pin is tucked away behind the trees) and I almost filmed my dad playing his shot and I REALLY wish I had.

His approach to the green was blind, but he hit a cracking shot which bounced twice on the green and then dropped in the hole for an eagle two (bit of a result for an amateur player!). Dad missed the whole thing as his view was obscured, but I was pleased to be there to see it and the absolute delight on his face!
