For lack of..

a blip....another screen shot! 

Our friend Donna had Noreen and I over to her house for lunch and a sharing session of books we have been reading. One can never have too many book recommendations. Of course there are photos of us, but as usual, I forgot to ask permission to post. Hence..an emergency blip. 

I really should have had photos as Donna lives in Thickson Woods, a place I have referenced before - a popular spot for bird-watchers and right now those woods are full of migrating warblers! And they come to her feeders...but drat! We were so focused on food and books that I didn't take enough time to get a good photo; I totally missed the Baltimore oriole, and was not quick enough to snap a little warbler that flitted by. 

Hence the screen shot of the documentary Britain and The Blitz  that I spent my evening watching! It was definitely worth my time!  Amazing footage and so well-presented. I just cannot imagine what that must have been like..it boggles the mind.
