Heedrum Hodrum

I popped out to the shops at lunchtime and came across the Piping Live! free arena, which is not in its usual place this year.

These youngsters were performing rather well, watched by lots of their pals in the crowd. According to the MC they were filling in as they'd been there all day but the next booked band couldn't come. I rather like their honest looks of slight boredom as he 'filled' almost relentlessly.... Apparently 'heedrum hodrum' is a derogatory term for Highland music, but they were getting nothing but praise.

You didn't get the shots of the crazy window cleaner we saw from the office, who walked along the 4th floor ledge of the building opposite, detaching and reclipping his harness as he went - I don't think that's the point of the harness!!!
