Enough to bring down an elephant !

I spent the large part of my day today in the dentist chair... Had to have a crown removed. As he gave me the injection , I felt a bit woozy but on he chatted .... And then commenced drilling... We had to stop, too painful, another injection , more drilling, I halted him with alacrity ! Eye wateringly painful.. He said rather tersely .." I given you enough to bring down an elephant !"... Steady on I quipped !
Somehow he chipped it out !!
We've had no electricity in our area all day due to the storm last night and I noticed how quiet it was around the house... They were unable to fix the cable so we've got a generator thumping away outside in the road.. Feels like we are down on the farm!
