Who's zooming who?
Another motion blur shot ... I'm a bit fixated on these right now and there is no better place than NYC to experiment. Peg had a follow up with the dentist this morning, so while she endured that, I took myself down to Dag Hammarskjold Plaza on 2nd Avenue to try some street photography. There was a wonderful farmer's market set up on the plaza and it was a photographer's paradise. This isn't a place to find tourists, too far off the beaten track - but it's a favorite spot of local east-siders. And what fun!
In this shot, you can see part of the market in the background with the suggestion of a young girl on her razor zooming by, giving me a quick look. Hope you like it.
I took several hundred shots and posted 11 of my personal favorites HERE on Flickr if you'd like to have a look.

Peg dropped me off at home, before continuing on her way north to Corning. We've made tentative plans to meet again in the City on the 24th, assuming we can score some hotel rooms.
Tomorrow I'll be back to my regularly scheduled nature/wildlife shots - in the meantime, thanks for stopping by!
