Te Kaha Stadium

From our hikes on the Port Hills, we have been watching the progress of Christchurch's state-of-the-art stadium. 

With a seating capacity of 30,000, Christchurch can look forward to concerts and sporting events under a roof!  Started in April 2022, it is on budget ($683 million) and on target to open in April 2026.

In extras, there is a wider view across the central city (including the stadium) to the mountains.
