Goatee(Book)nerd

Back at home and time to catch up with our local lovelies.

The very thoughtful and generous Goateebooknerd and his LOH lived up to their names and gifted me this very excellent book on street photgraphy; can't wait to stuck in to it.

In other news, B's Mum and Dad are here overnight on their way to Gatwick airport at dawn's crack. We cooked dinner and squeezed round our diddy table with B's daughter, her partner and EJ.
B's daughter is an excellent cook and made me a Birthday cake which would probably have made it onto these pages had it not been for her dog who while we weren't looking ate three quarters of it!
There was a delicious sliver each left of lemony goodness and the marzipan camera that B had lovingly fashioned to adorn the top survived :)
