Well this is the drum section.

Latest on the Jury service. Today they had a case ready to go trial. So we had a ballot for the Jury. The names go into a gold fish bowl and get drawn out one by one. I reckon there were 40 odd of us to fill the 15 places. I had my fingers and everything else crossed that my number (342) wouldn't be read out. We got all the way to number 15 and the Officer read out number THREE ....... FOUR .............. ONE. Phew! Missed it by one.

I can't say anything about the case but it sounded quite involved with a special defense lodged.

Not off the hook yet as I have to keep checking in in case they need another Jury or a substitute Juror.
