Damsels but not in distress

We're a little late to the party but the damselflies are back out on the pond. Probably not born there - the fish are too voracious - but scouting out the possibilities in the marginals and water lilies. 

A trying day, on the phone to various tyre stockists, trying to find some rubber for Morrigan. But then a far better afternoon when Brendan and Sarah popped over for a cuppa.

This evening is the annual parish council meeting - first item on the agenda elect a chairman for the forthcoming civil year. Every year I wait with baited breath, hoping someone else wants to accept a nomination...

Sorry. Neither of the damselflies were willing to be silvered, so no gold for me; I'm off-theme for today's Tiny Tuesday. ;-)
