Pain Relief
Today I collected the Entonox, (Gas and Air) which is to help the GOG with pain management and this is a picture of it, together with some of the other pain relief.
Today, on waking his left foot was rather swollen and pain was experienced when walking. He has been complaining to anyone who will listen that sometimes it feels as though his leg will break. It seems he thinks something ‘clicked’ in the night, so it is possible that a small bone has broken or some tendons snapped. The swelling goes down with rest and he did not want to go to A and E. However, he has an appointment, for some tests, at Addenbrookes Hospital on Saturday and if it is not better by then I shall make him go to A and E while we are there. If it gets worse, now he has his Entonox he can go in the car, an option which was not available before.
Until the Grumpy Old Git is feeling better I am updating his journal with words and pictures to inform anyone who is interested in his progress.
