Bluebells

TT was at work today, but I had a public holiday. I was awake early, got up and put the washing machine on, then went back to bed to read my book. I had to get up again to close the window, as it was just too cold!

When I got up properly, I went for a wee walk before going for a seven mile run, probably the farthest I have run in ages. Although it had been a really cold morning, the day was improving.

Later on I eventually finished my book, then as the sun was out, I went out for a walk. It was really bright and warm. I walked to Sandy’s Mill, then back along the river. The river walk was just lovely in the sunshine, and very peaceful. I only met one person on my walk. There were lots of butterflies flying around, and I had my eyes peeled for a kingfisher, but I didn’t see one.

Once I was home I made tea, then walked down the road to meet TT. I had over 40,000 steps today, so it was no surprise that I was a bit weary this evening.

These bluebells were in a wood, by the road, and the yellow oil seed rape fields(extra) were glowing in the sunshine.
