Garden blip

A busy and happy day, with my sister and her family, and my brother coming over for lunch. A bit ambitious as I'm having the hall, stairs and landing decorated, but all went well and nobody appeared to end up covered in paint.

It's raining now, and I haven't had time to get out for a walk, so I wandered round the garden.

I have a stray magnolia bloom - high up in the tree. It has never flowered twice !

There was one white butterfly and a silver Y moth. But my favourite was this close up of the ballerina rose. The other roses are awaiting their second blooms but I've always been fond of this gentle pink one.
