Shadows and Light

Yes, well... a Sunday.

In the morning I drove over to Falkland to buy fresh food. At lunchtime and this evening I cooked some of it. 

Dinner was a chicken stir-fry with boiled rice. The special part of it was the spring onions. I grew them myself. They deserve to be Blipped. I think it might be the first time I have grown onions. 

When I was in Poland last month I went to see Lechia Gdańsk playing football. At the time they were bottom of the Polish top league and facing relegation. The match I saw was against Mielec, then second from bottom.

Lechia recovered from 0-2 behind at half time to win it 3-2 with a couple of stoppage time goals. I thought a team with that much character would have a chance of survival. 

Today they beat Kielce to guarantee safety from relegation. I was right. It happens occasionally. More often would be good, but I enjoy it when I can.
