The Truth is in...

... the eye!

Went to the National Botanical Garden of Wales today. There is a Bird of Prey centre there. Where this and a few extras will be added.

Like zoo's I'm in two minds about centres such as these. Looking at the captive birds in their cages. I got the distinct impression from a couple that they were fed up of humans gawping at them through the netting.

There are flying displays. Two a day. With different birds flying each session. A knowledgeable commentary provided by the staff. Providing the education we humans need.

I used scoot again to get around. Very hairy at times over uneven terrain. Even got beached on a bit of scrub and a walk around the arboretum abandoned.  At the risk of offending, we were a bit disappointed with the Botanical gardens itself and have no plans on taking advantage of the ticket now valid for 7 days. Shame really.
