Winter Rose

I'm confused by my Winter Roses. One flowered during summer and they're all in bloom now.

Some are cream with a hint of green, the others are this mauve/pink. I'm not usually a pink flower girl but I like this.

Winter Rose it may be but certainly their colour was a celebration of spring today. I'm enjoying the colour in my garden. I noted too my native Clematis (on the fence in the background) is about to burst into bloom! They're notoriously tricky to grow but mine has flourished ever since I planted it last October.

I'm home from yoga. Just a little broken ;-) but good broken. I certainly feel relaxed. And that's a good thing as I was awake way, way to early this morning.
