Swing time

Rocky tried out his new swing bed today and settled into it very nicely. It's hanging from the climbing frame in the garden. It's a good alternative use for the frame as it's a long time since it has actually been climbed on. We also dismantled the old swing seat which had been rusting away, unused and unloved, taking up space in the garden to no good purpose. I had to use a hacksaw at times as the nuts and bolts were so rusted.  So that's the tip run for next week sorted - it will make a change to use the metals skip rather than the garden waste skip which is my usual port of call. Earlier in the day I had walked down to the village to get my paper. It was a beautiful Spring day as I hope the extra shows - I particularly liked the cloud pattern.
