New sofa

On 7th March 2025 we ordered a new sofa from John Lewis. It arrived this morning just after 8:00am. My blip shows it in its new home. I'm really pleased that the colour fits well with the other greens in our sitting room.

This morning I tackled the admin backlog that has built up over the past week or so. This is due to our long weekend away last week, and my busyness of the past couple of days. Meanwhile Mr hazelh attacked the weeds on the patio and the paths in the back garden, and took apart our sad bird table (vandalised beyond repair by the fox).

This afternoon, after preparing our supper, it was my turn to garden - this time at the front. Mr hazelh enjoyed a spin on his bike while I worked my way down the steps and through the pots.

Before supper this evening, together we watered the plants both at the front and back. The soil at the back is very dry, and we are worried that the lawn seed that we scattered a few weeks ago may not have yet taken.

The new mattress is now on our bed. I wonder if it will make a difference to my ability to sleep in my own bedroom?

Exercise today: none apart from gardening (day off).
