Silly Saturday Selfie

M and I are on holiday in the Cotswolds and visited NT Croome today. It’s now National Trust but was the ancestral home of various Earl’s of Coventry. The house is devoid of furniture, it was sold at some time in the past but we understand that NT have purchased it now but it’s in storage at the moment. There were various ‘installations’ in the rooms and one was this mirrored display of fine china originally from the house. We couldn’t resist a silly selfie.

RAF Defford was adjacent to the grounds and some of the WWII buildings still remain, now a museum. The extra is a photo of Mary Lee Berners-Lee who was a computer scientist and campaigned for women computer programmers to get equal pay. Her photo was in the museum. Mary is the mother of Tim Berners-Lee, he invented the World Wide Web.
