Early Light on Whitewash Head, Sumner

I'm making a move back to the past! I used to run down to the beach every morning, jog both ways and then back up the hill again. My morning patterns were rudely interrupted about 18 months ago, with a knee injury that got aggravated by more injuries. An operation about 10 weeks ago is changing all that.

This morning I decided I'd go to the beach early again, take my camera, but that the walking was going to be the most important activity. It was so good to be back down there early, walking for exercise again, instead of a slow amble! The sight of the old Signal Station, and Whitewash Head, being bathed with the early morning light brought the walking to a momentary halt!
