stained
"aren't we all just stains on the imbricated fabric of temporality?"
a silver lining to graduate school is when you meet people who are brilliant yet do not take themselves too seriously. Sean here is exactly one of those good people. and there are others, thank {insert diety name here}. but Sean's knowledge of things, especially the literary theory, is astounding and he is able to genuinely and passionately articulate on said things in an erudite manner far beyond his years. any one's years. i mean, just take a look at his journal and see for yourself. yes, we had a good meeting today about some things for our graduate student association, working on projects, getting the ball rolling, and all that shite. met up with the ever-wise m. todd to talk comp-shop as well, of which he had excellent advice.
indeed, was quite productive today at school. Leah had an early day off so she came in with me to the office and she got a lot of her questions done also. I finished a book and notes. things are moving forward.
thus, we rewarded ourselves with an impromptu bike ride this evening, but due to the impending-then-arriving rain storm, popped in unannounced on some friends and shared a delicious autumnal stout until the weather cleared.
