last one out, first one in

This is my youngest grandson, so he was the last one born (OUT) and the first one to be IN my blip album for this trip.
Hubby and I got to the airport well before dawn only to be told that there was a big delay that would cause us to miss our connection resulting in a very late arrival at this end. Too sleep deprived to be very rational, and eager to be on time for our grandsons, we said just get us to the East Coast and we will drive the rest of the way if need be. But once we arrived on the East Coast, not so late after all, our connection was delayed too, so we ended getting here right on time!
And our three boys made us feel so welcomed! We are glad we didn't miss a minute of our first day together.
