Cable ship moored in the Cromarty Firth, from a wee detour on the way home this evening. Problems obtaining a steady enough photo, without a tripod. Tried various methods, with limited success.

This morning I took Dad to an Audiology appointment for a new hearing aid. Whilst waiting our turn, an elderly lady came out and commented to her daughter that her walking stick was making a clicking noise. Her daughter replied, "Well that shows your new hearing aid's working, as your stick has been clicking for months!"

Afternoon, help my parent's neighbour fix damaged (Council) drainage pipes that had collapsed in Mum & Dad's garden due to a big Scots Pine tree roots breaking into the pipes. Ended up covered in mud, but good fun learning how to sort it, and working with neighbour and his mini-digger. Will be sore for a few days after that.
