Escaping

This morning first thing, Billie escaped into a field to chase a deer. Nice to have deer running around. Not so nice for a dog to be chasing one. She came back promptly but I then had a real challenge getting her back over the fence she had leaped over. The path was on higher ground creating quite a challenge in reverse.

Bible study after. Just 3 of us but a great passage and a good hour well spent.

Both then came back here; one and then later, the other. J and I had lunch and then hung a mirror together - it definitely needed 2 pairs of hands. J left and F arrived for a house tour and a cuppa in the garden. Nice catch up.

And I escaped off and out for a meal with these wonderful friends from our old church. So lovely to be with them and the food was amazing. I’d love to go back.
