Emergency ceanothus blip, taken from an upstairs window zooming down onto the tree just before my short-notice visitors arrived. During the day our tree is honey-scented and buzzing with bees and hover-flies, but sadly it's growing in a really unsuitable and restricted place, quite a few of its branches are dying off and it's now leaning over alarmingly, likely to come down in the next gale we have. We've decided to have it taken down when we get our next lot of major garden work done in a couple of months, and start again with a small one in a better place.
