C-C-C-Country F-F-F-Fair
Brr!!!!! A sea day today, and a very chilly windy one it is, too. This morning, the intrepid staff and crew set up a "Country Fair" on the Pool Deck, where the different departments (Housekeeping, Restaurant, Bar Staff, etc.) had booths with games of chance and other entertainments to amuse we passengers.
I applaud their enthusiasm and their hardiness! It was very very windy, and extremely cold out there! Nevertheless, Mr. W and I braved the elements, and even managed to win several of the coveted Silversea Prize Points (you can earn them at Trivia and other such entertainments on board, and then they can be redeemed for items such as baseball caps, tote bags, etc.). I have to admit that we only lasted out there for about 20 minutes -- once my sinuses felt thoroughly frozen, I cried "Uncle!" and fled indoors!
Left to right, top to bottom: Some of the booths set up on the deck, the points I won for getting a sand bag in the hole at the Cornhole competition, Cruise Director Moss Hills with a lovely lady from the Reception Desk who hosted a crazy word game, and a glimpse of the bouncy ocean as we cruised along.
