Mont St Michel at night, the view

We went to Mont St Michel in the evening twice. It was so lovely the first time we had to go back the next day. In summer between 9 pm and midnight there is classical music playing in various rooms of the Abbey. The Abbey is very beautifully lit and atmospheric with the lovely music wafting through the corridors. This shot is the view from a balcony looking out over the causeway back to the mainland. You can see the trails of the shuttle bus headlights in the lower left corner.
