HotSpot?
No but a small nick. Breeding kidney stones at an alarming rate. The 9 that rolled out Sunday are just a starter. However they aren't an immediate problem but Birgit spotted an abscess yesterday and insisted I had it looked at asap. Cut a long story shortish, had an appointment at 16:00 this afternoon at the specialist who sent me straight to hospital and they wanted to cut it out tonight but the operating room (anaesthetists) already had a full programme, at least until midnight so I was sent home. Shame as I hadn't eaten since Monday evening. Back tomorrow morning and scheduled for early afternoon op with a nights bed & breakfast included. If lucky home on Thursday (Bank Holiday in Bavaria) morning for family BBQ at our place.
Turning off comments for the next day or so. Sorry for not getting to do some commenting but have quickly whizzed over a few journals to make sure I haven't been liabeled, threatened or otherwise.
Hope you are all better than I am, although I must say it really is all trivial stuff and I have no physical pain, just a very large question as to when it will all end!
Guess Birgit will have me as a patient for a few more weeks, just when she thought she had finally got rid of me.
PS MissWinterFinch: The title is a reference to cricket umpiring. If you want to learn more, ask Angelique for tips on how to down a bottle of Pimms in 30 minutes and when you have done that, ask Dave to explain it to you.
