Creatures

I was concentrating on the hoverfly, so didn’t notice all the other creatures at first. The blue flowers in the background are Green Alkanet, the same patch I featured last May.

A cooler, dull day but it looks like we’ll have plenty of sunshine for the weekend. 

I didn't bump into any VE Day Anniversary events. Mum and Dad were both 13 at the time. I don't remember either of them talking about the day itself, but my Dad did write a short article, 'A Boy's War', which I should dig out again.
