Goodbye June

Today it was time for another Goodbye.

We sent Gina's Nanny (and Miles' Great Nanny) June off today. The ceremony was very nice, and Gina and her brother Julian both said a beautiful Eulogy. Miles was very well behaved but piped up a couple of times at key moments. I had to take him out towards the end because he started getting excited and it was distracting for everyone.

He liked the songs though.

Everyone came back to the house for a Nanny June-inspired lunch (cheese, ham and loads of mayo included) and some drinks. The flowers came back with us.

It was a suitable send off for such a lovely lady.

May you rest in peace June. I hope that you're dancing your heart out with Bert wherever you are.
