Zinnias

It was beautiful today, but unfortunately I didn't get outside today during my lunch hour. After work I had some errands to run and I was going to go to the beach for a possible sunset, but the sky got overcast. One of my coworkers sons is a Boy Scout and they have different fund raisers during the year. This time of year they sell plants. I bought a flat of dahlias (some of which I will give to mom) and a pot of zinnias. 
Tomorrow there is rain in the forecast. I am leaving work a little early so that we can get to the wake, which is in Queens, an hour away without calculating Friday evening traffic.
