Before the Hoe

A patch of self-seeded coriander at the allotment. The leaves are almost big enough for me to pick now, which I want to do before hoeing the lot in as green manure. I’d just nipped up to check if anything needed watering (lots did) and to set a trap in the compost heap to try and catch whatever beastie has made it its palatial home. If it takes the hint and moves on then even better.
Then yet another tenpin match, Trios this time, and we surprised ourselves by snatching a couple of points in the last game. Getting near the end of the season now and I’m quite happy about that, it’s been a struggle!
On the travel front, my Chinese visa has been approved which, given I’ve paid for the flights, is excellent news. A bit more planning is needed for the second half of our trip but there’s no rush.
